Studio - Submission Information
Year-round we accept sumbissions for consideration in The Studio. The Studio provides an opportunity for artists to have an online outlet for connecting with the purchasers, collectors, dealers and critics of photography.
The Studio is an on-line extension of wall space, providing artists an opportunity to have a virtual body of work in connection with a gallery, for sales and promotion, and to be connected to other artists that share their passion and commitment to creating and displaying fine art photography.
A jury of peers will look at each submission, with the potential for guest jurors to view the works, and selections will be made based on the quality, cohesiveness and creativity of the artwork. The artwork must be photography based - while utilizing methods and techniques, either exclusively or in conjunction with other artistic processes.
The studio is wall space's way of reaching a wider audience, giving artists the benefit of gallery association, with promotion, sales and visibility without the overwhelming financial investment of producing work to be placed in a flat file, or kept in a box.
New Directions, our annual juried showcase of new work is another opportunity to submit your work. The purpose of New Directions is to showcase emerging photography talent to our audience. New Directions 2011, will be accepting submissions from October 1st - 19 November, 2010. The juror will be announced in early fall. Visit us in the beginning of October for full details on how to submit.
Submission Fees
Application/ Submission Fee
- $25 for the first portfolio
- $20 for each additional (submitted simultaneously)
Accepted Portfolio Initial Set Up Fees
- $50 for the first portfolio
- $25 for each additional portfolio
There is no annual fee required to participate. Our goal is to show and sell your work. Any and all of the fees associated with the site are primarily administrative. For the full list of requirements, fees and payment schedules, please contact the gallery for details.
